About Wilfred Laurier University 

About Laurier 

Wilfrid Laurier University has been a school of high academic excellence since 1911. Laurier is located mainly in Waterloo, Ontario, but has two other campuses in Brantford, Ontario and Kitchener, Ontario. Laurier offers 90 programs and is home to around 19,000 students. Students are encouraged to apply their knowledge they learn to their everyday lives and is what the Laurier experience is all about. This can be applied through co-op programs and community service, then using these real-life experiences back in the classroom. Innovative programs range from arts and social sciences, social work, science, business and economics. Laurier's acceptance rate is 89% but will vary depending on the program. As well, the tuition, class sizes and entry requirements vary depending on the program which is desired.
